Yes its very good. However it starts to be a bit outdated in ISO performance. I have 1d MK3 at work, and recently bought 5d mk2 for personal use (the 1d was also my old and used it for many years). And i can say that the 5d mk2 beats 1d in ISO performance, and i prefer it in general, even tho the 1d is so good to use and everything else in it
