yeah the only way to get more than 4 players into a coop match (whether its a dedicated server installed with steamcmd or non-dedicated which is local host from your own game files) is to install sourcemod and one of the various plugins that does this (my suggestion is Super Versus that also works in coop) but getting into that even takes 4 or 5
