Go to a vendor with an empty junk category. Put one of the item into their junk and keep one in yours, then press Y followed by A (or maybe triangle followed by X) in very rapid succession on the item in your junk category. You will sell all junk, and then also sell it individually to have 3 of the item in the vendor's junk.
